Who we are
Oahu Roof Support LLC inspects and documents storm and insurance damage to your roof, helps you get a valid claim approved, and coordinates a trusted, locally licensed roofing contractor to do the work. We are not public adjusters and we do not negotiate your claim for you. When a claim needs formal representation, we refer you to a licensed professional.
What we collect
When you fill out a form on oahuroofsupport.com, we collect what you give us:
- Your name
- Your phone number (required, so we can reach you about the inspection)
- Your email address (on the detailed form)
- Your area or property address
- What you tell us about your roof (your primary concern and any details)
We also use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used. That tells us things like which pages people visit, it does not tell us who you are.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, schedule and run your free roof inspection, document any damage, help you with your insurance claim, coordinate a contractor if you want one, and follow up so nothing falls through the cracks. That follow up may include text messages, see the Messaging section below.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell or share your phone number, your text-messaging opt-in, or any consent information with third parties for their own marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Your opt-in is for messaging from Oahu Roof Support only.
Text messaging (SMS) program
If you check the consent box on our form, you agree to receive text messages from Oahu Roof Support about your roof inspection and insurance claim. Here is how the program works:
- What we text about: scheduling and confirming your free inspection, questions about your roof, updates on your insurance claim, and coordinating the work. This is customer-care messaging tied to the inspection you requested. It is not promotional marketing.
- Who texts you: an assistant for Oahu Roof Support helps line up your inspection by text. Every message identifies Oahu Roof Support. The assistant never pretends to be a person.
- Frequency: message frequency varies depending on your inspection and claim.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. You can ask for an inspection and work with us without agreeing to texts. Phone or email work too.
How to opt out, and how to get help
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out. You will get one confirmation and then no more texts from us. You can reply START to opt back in.
- Reply HELP for help, or call (808) 766-8023, or email art@oahuroofsupport.com.
When you text STOP, we confirm with a message like: "Oahu Roof Support: You are opted out and will get no more texts from us. Reply START to opt back in. For help call 808-766-8023." When you text HELP, we reply: "Oahu Roof Support: We text about your roof inspection and insurance claim. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Call 808-766-8023 or email art@oahuroofsupport.com. Reply STOP to opt out."
